LEELAH!!!

I am lucky to have the most adorable step-daughter in all of the world.

The way she sits is just so stinking cute!

The Great Ocean Road

Our first attempt to see the Great Ocean Road this trip was cancelled due to rain. However we were staying at Sophie's beautiful holiday house and didnt mind lounging around for a few days instead.

Joe made us his famous pancakes,
while we enjoyed the beautiful backyard views:

This past week we finallllly hopped in the car and drove the 4 hours down the beautiful coast. We camped at a national park that was just behind the sand dunes on the beach. As you can see we were happy to soak up some sun an frolick on the beach after such a long drive.

The next morning we woke up and drove a bit further to see the 12 Apostles. They are limestone formations that have formed over the last 100s of years.

Definitely worth the wait!

Snacks and Sunshine

If the Aussies know how to do one thing right , its breakfast. This one even managed to fill Joe up for a few hours...

Another delicious coffee. Here they call a macchiato a piccolo. How cute and yumy!

Cupcake pops for Tom's birthday picnic.

Happy Birthday boys!!!!

Even Freddo the frog came out for the party:

On Sunday we met up with some of Joe's aunties and old friends at the Belgian beer garden. Little Noah must have had one too many :)

Kath and Anthony enjoying some sunshine and jazz:
With less than a week left we have plans just about every second. We are headed down the Great Ocean Road today. Hopefully the sun comes out and I can get some good pictures!

Melbourne's specialties: Coffee & BBQ

Per request I have a few more Melbourne photos for all of our loyal blog followers (hi mom and dad!)

Though most places are still closed for New Years, everyone here takes off about 2 weeks at the start of the year, we have been able to find some delicious coffee shops. Our first favorite was Captains of Industry
We found it down a little laneway and it was super cute and tasty. The best part is you can have a pair of pants made AND get a hot shave while you sip your latte.

After a day of frolicking around the city, we headed to one of Joe's old haunts, "The Lounge" for a beer.
Turns out we are actually closer to home than we thought!
Beautiful birds chirping outside the train station:
MORE PAVLOVA!!!
At our Aussie wedding BBQ, we got to meet Fiona and her lovely little Louisa :)

Sarah grilled up some dindin,
We are still eating it 3 days later
My first kookaburra sighting. There were kangaroos just down the hill too but the camera couldnt zoom close enough...
Such a happy baby!
We are going to have the luckiest kids in the world! Joe's mum used to sell childrens books and has kept at least one copy of every book she ever sold plus more!!! This isnt even all of them!!
